desitaashguide.com publishes independent reviews, guides and explainers about real-money gaming and offshore betting as it affects Indian players. This page sets out how we research, test and maintain that content, and how we handle the commercial relationship behind the site.
How we test
App reviews are based on hands-on use on real Android devices, not on press kits or affiliate feeds. Where we report a withdrawal time, a deposit minimum, a KYC step or a bot-density figure, it reflects something we observed during testing and documented with timestamps where possible. Probability, variance and house-edge claims are derived from first principles and stated so you can check the maths yourself.
Independence
We do not accept payment from any single operator in exchange for a favourable review, a ranking position, or the removal of criticism. Coverage of third-party apps and offshore books remains editorially independent of any commercial relationship. Some pages contain affiliate links; when they do, the link is marked and the presence of an affiliate relationship never changes our verdict, our score, or the warnings we publish about legal and financial risk.
Legal accuracy and harm reduction
India's online-gaming law changed materially with the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2025. We try to describe the legal position accurately rather than minimise it. Where an activity is illegal, restricted, or a gray zone, we say so plainly. Our goal on real-money topics is harm reduction: if a reader has already decided to act, we want them to do it with accurate information about the legal, tax and financial exposure they are taking on. Nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice.
Sourcing
We cite primary sources (statutes, RBI and CBDT circulars, court rulings, operator licensing records) where they exist, and label estimates as estimates. Industry figures we cannot verify directly are described as such rather than presented as fact.
Updates and corrections
Regulatory and operator facts move quickly. We date our pages, revise them when the underlying facts change, and note material updates inline. If you find an error, write to us through the contact page and we will check it against the source and correct the page if warranted.
How the site is funded
Some pages contain affiliate links, and we may earn a commission when a reader signs up through one of them. That revenue funds our testing and hosting; it does not direct our editorial verdicts, and we never adjust a rating in exchange for it.
